Fighting cocks—symbolizing power, dominance, and visceral conflict—alongside still lifes featuring junk food and energy drinks that address the overconsumption and underlying deprivations of modern life, starkly reflect the contradictions of our era. Blending the precision of classical oil painting with the immediacy of contemporary urban culture, his vivid colors and Andalusian tile patterns reveal an inner psychological tension beneath a captivating first impression.
Rather than offering moral lessons, his work confronts us head-on with a portrait of modern society full of stimulation, spectacle, and noise.
